There is a load of independent heavy metal music arriving on the scene over the course of the next month. First we have the new release titled "forge," from the hardcore band DCA. It will be released on May 25th through BDHW Records and features 11 tracks of heavy-hitting vocals, supported by a blazing, intense attack of music. Also arriving May 25th on BDHW Records is the debut album from the hardcore metal supergroup, Thronetorcher. The band consists of members of Intense, Broken Humanity and Felony as they look to bring the aggressiveness of their live shows into the studio for their album, "Eden's Poison." It features only 5 tracks and clocks in at 13 minutes, but the music will simply melt your face with the band's intense sound. Another May 25th release is the much anticipated return of the hardcore band World Of Pain with "No Utopia." The band's signature sound of growling vocals, high-energy rhythms and crunching guitar riffs is spread all throughout their new album. Their new release features seven tracks, clocking in at only 18 minutes, so you know the music is quick, swift and to the point.
Arriving a week earlier, is the May 18th release from the Rotterdam Ska-Jazz Foundation. Their new EP titled "Big Horns" features five up-tempo, high energy instrumental pieces that will get your swinging jazz side flowing. The week prior to that, on May 11th we get the debut album from Probation titled "F*cked By Life." It features six tracks of aggressive, chip-on-your-shoulder songs that will certainly get your adrenaline pumping. Finally we arrive at the June 15th release from the hardcore metal band Take Offense. Their new album titled "Tensions On High" will be available on vinyl through Demons Run Amok Entertainment. The band's sound captures the hardcore metal traditions from the early 80's New York scene, adding their own brand of west coast style to create these new five metal anthems.
