A Range Of New Rock Releases From Pigweed, HeRz, Slap Guru & Razorhouse

From south Texas comes the debut album titled "The Weight" from hardcore metal rockers PigWeed. Here are some new independent heavy metal releases arriving the next few months, beginning with the new 4-song EP from U.K. doom metal band Godthrymm. On March 9th, Omnivore Recordings released the first compilation from the legendary bluegrass trio, Uncle Walt's Band. The new album titled "Anthology: Those Boys From Carolina, They Sure Enough Could Sing..." features 21-tracks, beginning with the wonderful harmonizing of "Seat Of Logic" from the band's 1974 debut album, "Blame It On The Bossa Nova."
