CD Review: Burnt Out Wreck Want You To "Swallow" Their Debut Album

The return of Gary Moat (Heavy Pettin) comes in the form of Burnt Out Wreck and their debut album "Swallow." The music on this album picks up right where Heavy Pettin left off as Moat's iconic vocals are supported by big, fat guitar riffs and exciting up-tempo rock rhythms. The album was released back in February through Cherry Red Records.

It begins with the band's theme song "Burnt Out Wreck" as Moat's vocals sound timeless on this song, which kicks the album off with high energy. The album's lead single, "Swallow" and "Pullin' It Out" carry that nostalgic Heavy Pettin rock sound, while the chugging guitars of "Talk About Love" gives a heavy metal edge to their sound. It's hard to deny the addictive delivery of "Medusa" as Moat and his band are in top form on this album. Burnt Out Wreck close out the album with "Your Love (Is All I Need)" as Moat's vocals steal the show and the inspirational hard rocker "Best Of Your Life."

The new album with co-produced by Gary Moat, along with Steve Rispin (Asia) and mastered by Pete Maher (U2, Rolling Stones). To find out more about Burnt Out Wreck and their new release "Swallow," please visit their Facebook page at facebook.com/BurntOutWreck.
