Vinyl Review: Bob Seger's "Night Moves" Gets New Vinyl Release After Twenty Years

Capitol Records is jumping the gun a little with the debut release of Bob Seger's 1976 masterpiece "Night Moves" on 180-gram vinyl. The album was the first to feature Bob Seger's Silver Bullet Band and since its release almost 40 years ago it has since gone six times platinum (over six million albums sold).
To celebrate the 40th anniversary milestone of "Night Moves," the album has be remastered and released on vinyl as part of Seger's reissue campaign. The album featured five singles, including the top 10 single "Night Moves" and the Canadian chart topper "Mainstreet." With his new backing band, Bob Seger had a resurgence in energy with performing and writing. His string of platinum selling albums would last all the way through to the nineties. Song like "Come To Poppa" and "Mary Lou" need to be rediscovered on this classic album.
