CD Review: Newcomer Greg Holden Looks To "Chase The Sun" With Warner Bros. Debut

British-born singer/songwriter Greg Holden recently released his major label debut album "Chase The Sun" through Warner Bros. Records. He may be best known for writing the hit single "Home," which Phillip Phillips made into a #1 seller. The lead single from his new album, "Hold On Tight," is very contagious and will have you shouting along to the chorus as the Americana rhythm and amazing vocal delivery is the perfect combination for pop success.

The new eleven-song release continues with the mid-tempo appeal of "Save Yourself" as Holden's songwriting has the perfect pitch for mainstream success. He seems most comfortable strumming an acoustic guitar as in the folk style of "Boys In The Street," and in the heartfelt ballad "Go Chase The Sun," which helps showcase his amazing writing talents. He shows great diversity with his performances of the pop/dance beats of "Free Again" and the mainstream rock of "It'll All Come Out," before closing with the light, sunny, island vibe of "The Next Life."

Greg Holden is currently on tour with Delta Rae, before switching to tour with  Ingrid Michaelson in June. To find out more about his latest release "Chase The Sun," please visit
