CD Review: Cisco Adler Says "Aloha" To New Solo Career

California recording artist Cisco Adler is finally ready to release his debut solo album, “Aloha.” After fronting the rock band Whitestarr, Adler turned his attention to working with hip-hop artist Shwayze. After three successful albums, it was time for Cisco Adler to return to his roots on his island beats filled new album.

Cisco incorporates the help of G. Love on the Sublime-style of “You’re A Fool” as the groove becomes so contagious you’d wish you were on a beach. Adler adds a little hip-hop beat and rapping reggae to “Boom Boom Boom” with the help of Don Carlos and G Eazy. The album’s feel good appeal shines on “Classic” and “Waking Up In Paradise” as the North Mississippi All-Stars lend a hand. Cisco spreads his love on “Tha Good Life” as he shares the vocal duties with Mod Sun and Pat Brown. The songs begin to take on a more pop appeal with “Medicine” and “Try You,” finishing with the laid-back beats of “Sunday Afternoon.

Cisco Adler is currently on tour promoting his new album, “Aloha.” For a complete list of tour dates and for more information on the new album, please visit
