CD Review: Frank Sinatra's "Ring-A-Ding-Ding!" Celebrates 50 Years

This year marks the 50th anniversary of one of Frank Sinatra's most important albums, "Ring-A-Ding Ding!". To celebrate, Concord Music Group is reissuing the album, new remastered with two bonus tracks. The package also contains new liner notes from Frank Sinatra Jr., including insights to each song on this release.

This album came out at a pivotal time in Sinatra' career, when he just left Capitol Records to join Reprise Records where he would stay for the remainder of his career. You can also hear the cool swagger in his vocal delivery on songs like "The Coffee Song", "I've Got My Love To Keep Me Warm" and the title song "Ring-A-Ding Ding". The sound on this new release is phenomenal and the addition of the two bonus songs rounds out the album perfectly. The addition of "Have You Met Miss Jones?" is a wonderful insight into the recording sessions. Do yourself a favor and pick-up this new release and hear the album again for the first time.

This new version of Frank Sinatra's "Ring-A-Ding Ding" was released on June 7. For more information on this and other releases from the Concord Music Group, please visit their website, concordmusicgroup.com.
