CD Review: Connecticut's Sue Menhart Gives Us "Forever"

Connecticut singer/songwriter Sue Menhart is releasing a new EP entitled "Forever" on New London's Good Sponge label. Her deep, but powerful voice is felt right in the opening song, "Die A Hundred Times". The blues is alive in "Where'd You Come From" before she pleads to regain her soul in "You Can't Tame Me". The album closes with the title-song which perfectly blends Sue's vocals with a smooth jazz-fueled sound.

The new album was produced by Ron Zabrocki (Mariah Carey) and it is Menhart's third album that she has released. Sue will be performing live June 18 at Burke's Tavern in Niantic, CT. For more information on this soulful singer, please visit suemenhart.com.
