CD Review: Never Shout Never In "Harmony"

Never Shout Never is the stage name for Christofer Drew Ingle who is one of America's newest acoustic pop singer/songwriters. His new album "Harmony" was released last month on Loveway Records/Sire Records and entered the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart at #14.

The lead-off track "Harmony" introduces us to Ingle's soft, gentle and innocent sounding voice. His attempt at capturing a specific sound ranges from the folk storytelling of "Lousy Truth" to the determined pop vocals of "Piggy Bank." At times, Ingle sounds like a young Jason Mraz as he tries to find his footing on "Cheatercheaterbestfriendeater" and the light romp of "First Dance." The simple acoustic rocker "Sweet Perfection" works on a pop level as the entire album deals with the subject of love in an almost innocent way.

Never Shout Never will begin his tour on the west coast at the end of October before making his way east in November. He will be performing live at the Webster Theater in Hartford, CT on November 16. For a complete list of tour dates and album information, please visit
